Who can participate

• Anyone who self-publishes, either through SMP, through a personal website, or through a publishing company owned by the author may participate; you must own the copyright of your publications (or the copyright of an arrangement of an already copyrighted work, like the ArrangeMe program)

What Vreana will provide (for free!)

• A booth in Handbell Commons to promote independent publishers

  • Vreana will create videos of submitted works which can be accessed via the kiosks at the booth

• A reading session of independently published works

  • Vreana will print, watermark, and "bind" all the music

Two ways to participate (Deadline is May 31st, 2025)

1) Reading session submission - what you must provide:

• A PDF of an independently published work (including an arrangement of a copyrighted work published through ArrangeMe) that fits the requirements below:

  • 4-5 octaves of handbells (can be 2-7 octaves but note that only 5 octaves of bells will be available for the session)

  • Up to Level 4 (sight-reading friendly)

  • Any pop music released in 1990-2010

• PDF submission form

• There is no limit to the number of works a single publisher can submit; however, only 10 pieces total will be used at the event

2) Booth Kiosk - what you must provide:

• A PDF of an independently published work that matches one of the requirements below:

  • Original composition

  • Arrangement of a work in the public domain

  • Arrangement of a copyrighted work, distributed via ArrangeMe

• PDF/audio submission form

• Limit 7 submissions per publisher
