Kurt’s music highlights include performing on stage as a clarinetist at the Chicago Symphony Center for a world premiere commission in his junior high band days, and, most recently, as a clarinetist and handbell ringer with the First United Methodist Chancel Ringers of Downers Grove, IL, at the 2018 Handbell Musicians of America National Seminar Hymn Festival in Grand Rapids, MI.
In his summertime, Kurt enjoys performing as the audition, rehearsal, and pit orchestra piano accompanist with Little Mountain Community Theatre in Lemont, IL, and also enjoys assisting as an accompanist for after school choral programs and Solo & Ensemble functions.
