Area 11 is hosting a Read & Ring in Arizona. Vreana will provide the selections, all coming from independent publishers.

Who can participate

• Anyone who self-publishes, either through SMP, through a personal website, or through a publishing company owned by the author may participate; you must own the copyright of your publications (or the copyright of an arrangement of an already copyrighted work, like SMP's ArrangeMe program)

What Vreana will provide (for free!)

• Collected works will be provided to the organizer(s) of the event via the SPC program

• An "order form" including links to all works will be provided to the organizer(s) for distribution

One way to participate (Deadline is January 19th, 2025)

1) SPC submission - what you must provide:

• A PDF (watermarked, if desired) of an independently published work (including an arrangement of a copyrighted work published through ArrangeMe) that fits the requirements below:

  • 5 octaves of handbells (can be 2-7 octaves but MUST be playable with 5 octaves)

  • Level 2-3 (+/-) (sight-reading friendly)

  • Themes suitable for church choirs who may also host secular concerts

• PDF submission form

• There is no limit to the number of works a single publisher can submit; however, only ~10 pieces total will be used at the event. Submitted works will be screened in advance for suitability.
