About Me

I teach music at a public school, and I am the choir director/organist at a Roman Catholic Church. At my school I not only teach the general music classes from grades kindergarten to eighth, but also teach instrument lessons, direct the choirs and band. As of now I am the only teacher in the country with an elementary Barbershop Harmony program. In addition to all of these ensembles, I have nine bell choirs at the school, each on a different school level, including grades one to eight. I arrange all the bell choir music and band music at my school. I arrange many pieces for the choirs as well. I enjoy arranging music for community bands, orchestras, brass bands, and small ensembles as well. I have a special joy for jazz chord substitutions. I’d like to arrange Ukrainian music for all my ensembles as well.
